Claire Sibbald

Claire completed her BSc in Biology, Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Victoria before joining the MSc in Statistics at Imperial College London. Her Master’s thesis focused on developing statistical methods for determining the order of multi-period signals in unevenly sampled time series data. She also completed undergraduate research which focused on mathematical modelling of tuberculosis disease dynamics. At StatML, Claire looks forward to deepening her knowledge of statistical theory and exploring applications to astronomy and astrophysics research. Outside of her studies, Claire enjoys baking, figure skating and is a Special Olympics coach.
