Susanna obtained a BSc in Economics and Computer Science from Bocconi University, with an exchange semester at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, USA. She then completed an MSc in Data Science and, for her master’s thesis, she focused on Bayesian nonparametric models for exchangeable data in discrete settings. During her master’s degree, she also worked on algorithmic fairness and prompt engineering for large language models.
At StatML, she is interested in studying uncertainty quantification for machine learning models and the usage of these techniques in applied settings.
In her free time, she enjoys music, literature, and hiking.
