I am an Italian student with a mathematical background. I obtained a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Pisa and an MSc in Stochastics and Data Science from the University of Turin. During my studies, I developed a strong interest in probability theory, statistics, and machine learning. My master’s thesis focused on an Approximate Bayesian Computation (ABC) algorithm for parameter estimation of a non-neutral Wright–Fisher diffusion process within a Hidden Markov Model. This project strengthened my interest in computational statistics and, in particular, simulation-based inference (SBI). Before starting my PhD, I worked for one year at the European Central Bank in DG-Statistics, contributing to projects on crypto-assets, financial integration, and credit risk parameters. Outside academia, I enjoy travelling, anime, fantasy books, music, and going to the gym.
