Harleen Gulati

I am a first year StatML student. Prior to this, I completed my M.Eng in Mathematics and
Computer Science at the University of Bristol.
My research interests span Bayesian statistics, statistical machine learning, deep learning and
applying these three in real-world scenarios. I have recently fostered an interest in more
specifically applying these three to the field of healthcare.
In parallel to my own studies, I enjoy listening to peers enthusiastic insights into their research,
as it provides an avenue to expand and exchange knowledge within and outside the realms of
statistics.
Outside of studies, I enjoy going on long walks, solving mystery books, reading classics and
colouring in.
